Brass male thread union connector for plumging system is forged from high-purity brass and is not easily broken.
Suitable for pipeline systems such as water, oil, and gas. Adopting NPT/BSP standard threads, it has strong sealing performance and is an ideal connector for engineering matching, hydraulic equipment, and fire protection pipelines.
Hexagon joint brass pipe fittings are widely used in water, oil, gas pipe system and HVAC system.
Normally the material based on 59-1 or H62, but for the water plumbing system will requrie the lead free material.

Q1: Is this brass hexagonal double joint corrosion-resistant? In which media is it suitable for use?
A:Good corrosion resistance. This product is made of HPb59-1 or H62 brass material, which has good corrosion resistance to common media such as water, air, oil, and natural gas. It is not recommended to use it in strong acid, strong alkali or seawater environments for a long time. If there is such a need, stainless steel or special coating versions can be selected.

Q2:Can this connector be used on natural gas pipelines?Is it safe?
A:yes, but need choose the suitable brass, such as HPb 59-1 or higher.And consider the specific sealant tape and below working pressure 2.5Mpa.
